Donna Hotz DVM

Donna Hotz DVM, grew up on Martha’s Vineyard. She obtained her BS in zoology from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her doctorate in Veterinary medicine. She has spent the last twenty years in general practice. Dr. Hotz credits a good portion of her knowledge of feline medicine to the experience she gained working closely with abandoned and feral cats with Kitty Angels Rescue. In fact her three cats Skippy, Orion and Ashes are all foster failures. Dr. Hotz is a member of American Association of Feline Practitioners.

Heather Manning DVM
Heather Manning, DVM has been dedicated to keeping pets happy and healthy since earning her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she returned to her home state of New Hampshire to practice small animal medicine, ultimately pursuing her true passion: feline-exclusive care, which she has been providing since 2020.

Dr. Manning loves the unique challenge of deciphering subtle, instinct-driven feline behavior. Cats are biologically wired to mask pain, so finding the root of an illness allows for early detection, which is very rewarding.   

She is a member of the AVMA, NHVMA, and the Feline Veterinary Medical Association.

A Granite State native, Dr. Manning completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Sciences at the University of New Hampshire. She lives in central New Hampshire with her husband and their beloved feline companions Bailey, Sir Barristan the Bold, and Chewbacca. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, tending to plants indoors and out and occasionally growing a successful batch of vegetables, as well as traveling to new places as time and finances allow!

Anne Richards DVM

Anne Richards, D.V.M. joined The Cat Doctor in 2001 and has been working with cats exclusively since graduating from veterinary school. She received her bachelors degree in biology from Swarthmore College and her veterinary degree from Cornell University. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and the Cornell Feline Health Center. Dr. Richards also volunteers regularly at feral cat trap-neuter-return clinics held by Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society and Commonwealth Cats.

Robert Carlson DVM: Dr Carlson is retired from seeing patients, however he still consults about cases and is the present owner of the practice. He is active in the practice management.
