Heather Cringan DVM

From a very young age, Dr. Heather knew she wanted to be an animal doctor, and she always had a special fondness for her feline friends. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Cornell University and went on to veterinary school at the University of Minnesota. She moved out to Massachusetts for an internship at Tufts, and she fell in love with the Northeast. She worked as an emergency room veterinarian for several years. Then, she went into general practice medicine, because she enjoys building long-term relationships with her patients. She joined the team at The Cat Doctor in 2023. Outside of caring for cats, she enjoys traveling, birding with her husband, hiking, and avidly listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
